Invitation to the demonstration to call for the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Burma

Dear brothers and sisters

It is our great honour to invite you all, to participate and support the demonstration which is going to call for “the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Burma immediately”.

With the increasing oppression of the “so called” Burmese government and its recent atrocious attack on our peaceful political dissidents, who had exercised basic prisoners’ rights by calling for better prison conditions, has proved us there has been no progress towards genuine amnesty of freeing all political prisoners. Instead, these political prisoners have gone through more horrible prison conditions, being banned from family visits in the notorious confinement punishment cells.

We are so much concerned about this unfair silencing, especially the safety of all political prisoners. Besides, there are still 1,994 political prisoners who remain behind bars, facing constant threat and hardship from the Burmese government while serving unduly harsh and extreme prison terms.

We would respectfully like to request all brothers and sisters, to show our unified support for our heroes and their huge sacrifice for our freedom till the “so called” Burmese government respond their unfair conduct on all political prisoners sensibly.

The following dates are set to have demonstrations to call for the unconditional release of all political prisoners in Burma:

Date : 21st July (Thursday)

: 18th August (Thursday)

: 1st September (Thursday)

Time : 12:00 to 1:00pm

Venue: Burmese military regime embassy

19A Charles Street, London W1J 5DX

Thanking in advance for your continued support!

In solidarity
