SEVENTH JULY STUDENT MASSACRE

It is our great honour to kindly invite you all, to support and participate the demonstration to mark for the 7 July Students Massacre event.

In fact, 7 July is the significant historic day in the Burmese history. On that day in 1962, the unarmed university students who stood up for the geniune Students' Rights were shot down brutally by the Ne Win's army. Along with, the Student's Union Building was dynamited down with over a hundred innocent students inside. This memories still deeply remain in our heart as the bloodiest sacrifice of our heros , not to mention a great loss for us in the struggle for Freedom and Human Rights for our country.
Up to now, sadly, the military government has continued the arbitary arrest, inhumane torture and imprisonment of student dissidents generations after generations. But, no matter how hard they try to oppress our innocent civilians, they can neither suppress the students' sprit of going on fighting against the militarism nor crush down the sprit of fighting peacock which will live everlasting in us.
We are going to have the demonstration to express our great honour for those who sacrificed their lives against the military dictatorship. In addition, to show our unity and solidarity to stand by all those, who are in the democratic struggle. All your presence will be much honoured.
