Invitation to attend the protest to condemn the one year anniversary of Sham Election in Burma

Dear respectable brothers and sisters,

It is our great honour to kindly invite you all,to participate and support the protest in front of Burmese embassy on 7th November 2011.

Actually this day is a year anniversary of so called Sham Election in Burma. We have being condemned 2010's sham election because of the election itself was a mockery of the democratic process, there have been growing hopes over the past year that it may have set the stage for more substantive change. But one year on, we are still waiting to see if these hopes will ultimately prove to be as false as the results of last year's election.

Also there had been so called amnesty taken place last month in Burma but ignored the fact that there have over 2,000 political prisoners still behind bar and constantly bad treated and proper medical access have been denied by the authority. Our respectful political prisoner and the leader of the young monk association Ven Ashin Gambira was critically ill without proper medical assist in Kalay prison.

We, as a 88 New Generation Students in UK to call Burmese regime to immediately give proper medical assist to Venerable Ashin Gambira and release all political prisoners including our respectful leaders of 88 Generation Students in Burma.
